Introducing our new 3D HTV Vinyl ☁︎

Our new 3D Heat Transfer Vinyl creates a soft raised effect inspired by modern streetwear branding and vintage athletic lettering. Unlike standard flat HTV, this vinyl slightly expands during pressing, giving designs more depth and texture without becoming heavy or rigid.

Brands/aesthetics often associated with this style: Fear of God Essentials, Sp5der, Hellstar, Stüssy, Supreme, vintage varsity wear, Y2K streetwear, skatewear, athletic apparel.

Other common names for this material/style:

3D HTV looks especially good on separated text, small logos and bold lettering where the dimensional effect can fully expand and remain flexible after pressing.

3D HTV works best for:
• text-based designs
• separated letters
• small to medium graphics
• gothic fonts
• manga titles
• Y2K logos
• minimalist branding

Large solid logos are generally not recommended. Because the material slightly expands when heated, very large continuous surfaces can feel stiffer and reduce fabric flexibility.

Important pressing tip

Unlike regular HTV, excessive pressure can flatten the material and reduce the 3D raised effect. Medium pressure is recommended for the best dimensional finish.

How to iron on 3D HTV

  1. Preheat garment for 3-5 seconds to remove moisture
  2. Place design carrier-side up
  3. Press at 150-160°C (300-320°F) for 10-15 seconds
  4. Use medium pressure only
  5. Let cool before peeling
  6. Optional: repress for 2-3 seconds with parchment paper

Care instructions

• Wait 24 hours before washing
• Wash inside out in cold water
• Avoid bleach and high heat drying
• Do not iron directly over the design

The final result is a softer and more dimensional look than traditional flat heat transfer vinyl — especially noticeable on hoodies, heavyweight tees and oversized streetwear garments.
